What kind of venues can I add?

Add places to Foursquare that others would also want to check in to. Places that are okay to add: a new restaurant, a park, a shoe store or a bank. And yes, it's okay to add your own home to Foursquare (click here for details on how to make your home private to only you and your friends).

We don't want dummy or spam locations. Please do not add things like: your car, your stapler, your toilet, "Stuck in Traffic," "On a Plane," your girlfriend's cousin's kitchen, etc. No vulgar/offensive venues, either!
